Job Description: BP Exploration is seeking a Well Control Engineer to work within the BP Developments Division. The successful candidate will join the Global Wells Organisation (GWO)to support operations globally. Position Requirements • A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Petroleum engineering or related engineering discipline. • Minimum of 5 years experience in well control.• Previous experience as a well control engineer with at least one uncontrolled surface or subsurface release.• Subsequent experience associated with subsurface intervention, i.e. relief well drilling, dynamic and momentum kill methodology.• Technical aptitude for a suite of software programs required to satisfy well control requirements.
