ARLINGTON, Texas - The Texas Rangers are holding a job fair on Saturday, Jan. 29 to fill to fill a variety of positions at The Ballpark in Arlington.
The fair aims to fill about 400 spots and takes place at the ballpark from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

OPEN POSITIONS
Customer Service Representative
Minimum age: 18 Pay Rate: $8.25 hr Hours: 3-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Check tickets, bags, purses, and welcome guests to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Provide general information for guests, assist guests to their proper seats, give handouts to guests, and wipe seats when necessary. Must be able to be trained to operate a Magnetometer Wand. Additional duties may be assigned.
Parking Attendants
Minimum age: 16 Pay Rate: $8.25 hr Hours: 4-6 hour shifts
Job Description: Assist in moving traffic in and out of Ballpark parking lots. Be able to intelligently articulate with guests (i.e. give directions, and information).
Valet Drivers
Minimum age: 19 Pay Rate: $7.25 hr Hours: 5-7 hour shifts
Job Description: Drive and park cars with caution. Must be able to drive a standard transmission.
Qualifications: Must be 19 years of age and must satisfactorily pass a background check, and DMV check.
Promotions
Minimum age: 18 Pay Rate: $8.25 hr Hours: 4-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Move giveaway items from warehouse to gates; assist with distribution, and assist with various in-game features and special programs.
Sports Park
Minimum age: 16 Pay Rate: $8.25 hr Hours: 5-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Operate the Interactive Concourse Games in the Sports Park.
Retail Supervisor
Minimum age: N/A Pay Rate: TBD Hours: 6-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Provide Training of Staff, Fan Service. Will Sell and Stock Merchandise, Operate a Cash Register. Oversee displays and presentation for designated locations. Responsible for end of day reporting and other duties as assigned. You may be outside for your shift.
Retail Warehouse
Minimum age: 17 Pay Rate: $8.00 hr Hours: 6-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Receive, organize and deliver merchandise to retail stores and stands.
Retail Stores/Stands
Minimum age: 16 Pay Rate: $8.25 hr / Commission Hours: 4-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Provide Fan Service, Sell and Stock Merchandise, Operate a Cash Register. Work outside or inside gift shops.
Program Seller
Minimum age: 17 Pay Rate: $8.00 hr / Commission Hours: 4-5 hour shifts
Job Description: Sell, stock, set up and check in programs, yearbooks, media guides and other merchandise as needed.
Fan Photographer
Minimum age: 17 Pay Rate: $8.00 hr Hours: 6-8 shifts
Job Description: Take digital photos for the Fan Photo portion of the Texas Rangers Internet Site. Work games and other events as needed.
Concierge
Minimum age: 18 Pay Rate: $9.00 hr Hours: 4-6 hour shifts
Job Description: Distributing promotional fliers and set up suites for clients, setting up audio/ visual equipment, delivering game programs to suites and the Cuervo Club, directing/assisting customers on the suite levels.
Ballpark Tour Guide
Minimum age: 16 Pay Rate: $8.25 Hours: 2-8 hour shifts
Job Description: Lead guided tours through Museum and Rangers Ballpark, assist with educational programs, special events, overnight sleepovers at the Ballpark, or birthday parties as needed.
Requirements: Ability to work with both children and adult groups, speak clearly and loudly, and give instructions in a pleasant and informational manner. Tour guides must be flexible and alert and be able to adjust to unexpected events. Ability to walk a significant distance and climb stairs.
Cash Control
Minimum age: 21 Pay Rate: $9.25 Hours: Vary, up to 2 hours after game
Requirements: Must have at least two years bank teller experience. Must be able to use 10 key (adding machine, not calculator) by touch. Must have excel experience. Must be able to work weekday, weekends and holidays. Multi-tasking is a must, and must be able to pick up 25 pounds.
