Job Description:
Overall Job Description

Oversees all aspects of the organization's quality management system. Ensures products meet corporate standards as well as all applicable government regulations. Develops and or modifies and maintains procedures and work instructions as they relate to all elements of the business (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Testing).  A bachelor's degree is preferred with at least 15 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the oil field products, practices, and procedures such as API-Q1, API-14A, and API-11D1 strongly favored.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, must be a "hands on" individual. Performs a variety of tasks (conducts internal audits, training, monitors and reports on continual improvement metrics, leads primary audits with registrars). Candidate must work with other members of the staff to ensure objectives are completed in a timely and cost effective manner. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Quality Manager reports directly to the CEO of the company.

Job Functions and Expectations:


  • Reports effectiveness of Quality Management System to CEO
  • Responsible for the quality management systems (Tulsa, The Woodlands Technology Center, and ultimately the Service Centers))
  • Responsible for all QA/QC training activities.
  • Compile, monitor and report continual improvement opportunities
  • Responsible for owning and or issuing corrective actions, preventative actions and audit findings.
  • Responsible for all audit processes pre and post, internal and with registrar(s).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years QA experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, efficiency and time management skills are required
