Ability to use both tape based and non-linear editing systems necessary. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. JOB DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will shoot, write and edit their own stories. Applicant must be reliable and have excellent news judgment and writing skills. Candidate must also have a polished, on-air presence and the ability to handle breaking news live shots. Candidate must be able to work under the pressure of tight television deadlines. Applicant must also be able to write, videotape and post stories to our website. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Cordillera Communications is a privately held media company that owns 13 television stations in small to mid-sized markets.
